Trade Marketing
The Coca-Cola Company’s marketing department is accountable for the brand development, maintenance and positioning of all of the Coca-Cola Company’s brands. They focus on all above-the-line marketing and national promotions for our trade and end consumers through the appropriate media channels and brand activation. CCC focuses on understanding the market, and is primarily responsible for brand research, consumer research, and pricing studies. By maximising the potential of brands, developing innovative new brands and introducing Coca-Cola’s international brands into SA, they ensure that our products are the first choice of consumers.
ABI’s marketing department is responsible for the activation of occasion-, brand-, pack- and price strategies of TCCC. The activation of these strategies are executed through world-class trade and channel marketing (including national accounts and main market management, category management), marketing services (including promotional and trade execution) marketing systems and strategic research (including strategic planning, competitor trends, pricing, promotional analysis and volume forecasting). The national account managers for key retailers serviced by the Coca-Cola system (including TCCC and all bottlers) reside within ABI marketing.

Qualifications: An undergraduate degree or Diploma in Marketing/ Economics/ Econometrics
