Blakes & Doyle are typical names from West England, where the first cider originated. Blakes & Doyle isn’t technically a “real” cider - which is brewed from fermented apples - but is brewed with a fermented base to which pure apple concentrate is added, after which the product is left to mature to perfection.
Launched in October 2008, Blakes & Doyle is a premium dry apple ale – crisp and refreshing, with low carbonation, it is very smooth and leaves no lingering after-taste.
With Blakes & Doyle it’s been our quest to create the perfect premium dry apple ale, paying detailed attention to the steps that really matter: using the finest quality ingredients from around the world, controlling the termperature to the exact degree, and then, most importantly, allowing time to weave its magic as the apple ale matures.
