Recruitment Process

Step 1: See where you fit in
Take a closer look at our World of Opportunities  to see where you fit in.

If there is an opportunity you want to apply for, which is not available under current areas of focus, we will flag your CV on our system for the next arising opportunity in our business chain. 

Step 2: Register and apply
Info required…

  • qualification subjects/majors
  • latest academic results
  • full contact information
  • contact details of 2 lectures who have agreed to be your referees
  • your updated CV
  • your motivation for wanting to work at SAB  

Step 3: Successful CVs screened and shortlisted
Do you make “First Draft?”  You will contacted by 10 September to let you know of the progress of your application.

 

Step 4: Regional Assessments
Shortlisted candidates will be assessed during the month of September.  

 

Step 5: Assessment Centres

Successful applicants will go through a two day panel interview and final round of psychometric assessment.

These will take place during the month of October.


Step 6: Reference Checking

Before an offer of employment is made, reference and background checks are performed. Make sure you have the permission of your referees as SAB will be contacting them for referrals.


Step 7: Offer of Appointment

Final offers will be sent out to selected candidates for placement and letters of regret to those poor guys who get “shafted” instead of “drafted.” Just joking. We take smart candidates very seriously and will keep your application on file to contact you should we have another opening in the business.
